Week 1 – 30th July – Safety & School Rules

Week – 6th August – Balanced Sitting Trot & Work Without Stirrups

Week 3 – 13th August – Poles

Week 4- 20th August – Diagonals & Transitions

Week 5 – 27th August – Changes of Reins & Circles

Rider Weights

Please before you book please double check your weight, As we will be weighing riders before the go up to the indoor if you attend and are over our weight limit or refuse to be weighed we reserve the right to refuse you to ride and there will be no refund due to taking a lesson slot.

By registering with Bank Farm Riding School you have already agree to the following:-

  • You have read the Horse Riders Code of conduct. You understand that riding at any standard has inherent risk that you may fall off and could be injured. You accept that risk and agree that the riding school will not be liable for injury or damage to property unless caused by their negligence.
  • Where you are signing on behalf of a minor you have explained the riders code of conduct to your child and you both accept the risk and agree that the riding school will not be liable for injury or damage to property unless it is caused by their negligence.
  • You have read and understood the lesson booking and cancellation policy and agree to abide by it at all times
  • This course is NON-TRANSFERABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE

 

PROCEDURE/PROTOCOL

NO TRAINERS, SANDALS, FLIP FLOPS OR OPEN TOE SHOES FOR RIDER or ANYONE ATTENDING THE YARD (A SHOE OR BOOT WITH A SLIGHT HEEL FOR RIDER) You may be required to assist your rider, correct footwear to to be worn when attending the riding school.

RIDERS NOT TO WEAR DRESSES, SHORTS, SKIRTS

I just want to make you aware of the procedure set in place at bank farm riding school to protect everyone, yourself, my staff, my liveries and my family and also thankyou for your support and loyalty

HELPERS (Parents assisting their riders) MUST WEAR A HAT, GLOVES AND APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR AT ALL TIMES WHILST ON THE PREMISIS

PRIOR TO YOUR LESSON  Please Enter the yard via the double gates, the office is on the right hand side. 

Please report to the office upon arrival please make sure you arrive 10/15 minutes prior to your booking so that our team can check weights and mark off that you have arrived (if you refuse for our team to weight you or you are over our weight limit you will be refused to ride and there will be no credit or refund. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE GALLERY WHILST LESSONS ARE IN PROGRESS.

Riders and Their helpers will go through the gallery into the indoor if the rider requires leading (IF THE RIDER REQUIRES ASSISTANCE IE LEADING THEN A PARENT/GUARDIAN IS TO DO THIS)

On ending your lesson PLEASE LEAVE VIA THE GALLERY UNLESS YOU ARE TAKING YOUR HORSE ON TO THE YARD, Please do not go through the main horse door  PLEASE do not congregate.

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO GO TO THE STABLES AND STROKE THE ANIMALS THANKYOU

If you have your own hat, gloves and boots then please bring them, If you do not have your own hat we have a small range of hats TO WHICH THERE IS A CHARGE OF £2.00 HAT HIRE. Helpers to wear hats and appropriate footwear.

PLEASE DO NOT RUN ON THE YARD OR AROUND NEAR THE INDOOR.
